Being a mom is so hard, even if you think you're prepared for it, everything looks different through the veil of actuality. Even now, a lot of the time, I am so sure that I am screwing it up, so sure that I'm missing some crucial undefinable "thing" that would make being a mother easier somehow. But then all I have to do is look at their faces, hear them tell me that they love me, see how happy and healthy they are, and I know that for every mistake I make, I do a thousand things right. You do too, remember that. Just by holding her, feeding her, smiling at her, you are already her perfect mother. Sometimes forgiving ourselves for our mistakes and accidents is the hardest part of being a mom! I can...Oh, Liz, I am so sorry that happened to you! I can totally relate as I let Lena roll off a bed when she was about 4 months old. She screamed her head off for two hours straight. I know exactly how you are feeling and I'm so sorry that happened to you. But don't let it get you down. Abby is fine, and things like this happen. You are a great mom, and you are doing a fantastic job! Barbara is so right when she says this is the hardest point (the only time that will be harder is when you have a toddler AND a newborn to take care of, but no need to think about that just yet!). Things will slowly get easier as Abby grows and can communicate better. Praying for you!Lesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677002720553033628noreply@blogger.com
